What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is based on the scientific principle that food, as nature intended it, provides the nutrients needed to heal the body and to help bring us back to a state of optimum health.
Although some health complaints require medication, it has been repeatedly shown that nutrition and lifestyle changes supports the health of all major systems of the body.
Nutritional therapists function on the premise that each person is unique and they do not adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach. This is because the manifestation of a person’s imbalances may depend on their individual genetics, diet, lifestyle and environment.
A BANT registered nutritionist is trained in clinic to provide one-to-one health advice which is tailored to the individuals needs.
